The Road To Memphis is about the Logan family children and some friends of theirs. When they decide to make a trip to Jackson, an accident occurs. Before reaching Jackson they stopped at the town of Strawberry. In Strawberry, their friend Moe got into a mischief with some white kids, Statler, Troy, and. When this occured, they drove off to help Moe escape the trouble he was in. The only way for Moe to be safe was to go to Memphis and take a train to Chicago. Along the way to Memphis, other things occured like a surprised pregnancy, trouble with white folks, car breaking down, people going insane, new and old love life, and an awful death.

Recommendation

By Kaysha B.

I recommend this book to children of ages 12 and up. This book speaks of the lives of young black teenagers trying to make it threw the struggle of racism. It has a strong mature content that a lot of younger children wouldnt be able to comprehend, but it is a good way to see the life that young black people went through.
